When I joined OBRIO, it was a small team with just six people at the R&D center. I started as an iOS developer and soon became the iOS Lead, Head of Mobile. Currently, I occupy the position of the COO and lead a team of 30 people. I've been working as the iOS director for 6 years. During this time, I managed to implement the Image-Driven Development approach, which allows us to launch MVP functionality faster and more effectively, with as few developers as possible, without compromising on quality.
During my pre-OBRIO history, I launched two Kickstarter campaigns which brought in over $500,000 in funding. In just half a year of joining OBRIO, my team launched two new products, made a profit, and moved to the cross-functional structure. Furthermore, I've published the book, which was placed third in the 2020 best business books from the Ukrainian authors' category, KBU Awards version. In 2020, I won the Ukrainian triathlon championship over short distances. Now I'm preparing for the Ironman race. When you are at OBRIO, you can do it all and you can do it fast.
I started my journey in software development by working in startups, outsourcing, and creating my own product. However, I always wanted to find a place where I could combine my technical skills and entrepreneurial thinking.
When I joined OBRIO as a developer, I gained invaluable experience in product, marketing, and analytics. These skills, combined with my technical skills, helped me effectively develop the company's product.
Over 3 years, I achieved the position of Head of Engineering and then CTO, where I manage a team of developers and ensure their efficient and productive work. I value opportunities for self-development, so I read a lot of business literature and programming books. This knowledge helps me build a quality product and a strong technical team.
I joined OBRIO as a part-time Support Agent, and was the first employee on the team. As the team grew, I started working on optimizing operational processes, ensuring team quality, and configuring support team analytics.
I was fortunate to apply my expertise in developing the MVP for a new web product. The viability of the product was confirmed and I transitioned to the position of Supply Data Analyst. In this role, I’ve set up reporting for the product and supply teams.
Over the course of nearly a year, I gained experience and significantly improved my hard skills. Now, I hold the position of Product Analyst, and my responsibilities include generating and validating hypotheses, conducting experiments, finding insights, and making data-driven decisions to improve business efficiency.
I used to dream of working in a large company with multiple teams, where I could share my expertise and learn from other professionals.
I joined the OBRIO team with only six months of experience in front-end development, and I am about to celebrate my one-year anniversary. Currently, I am working on a fantastic product, utilizing modern technologies and programming approaches. I am part of an internal devs' community where I exchange ideas and experiences.
At OBRIO, I'm able to integrate various technical tools and services into our products. Overall, I face new challenges and exciting tasks every day.
I have over 10 years of experience in Recruitment & HR across Education, Big4 and IT. I joined OBRIO in 2019 as an HR Business Partner. Initially, I was responsible for building the HR function from scratch, and later I led People Operations as a whole, including Talent Acquisition, Administrative & Happiness and Employer Branding. I implemented predictive HR analytics, a salary tool, an OKR tracking system, authored leadership programs, developed and launched OBRIO Rewards, strategic planning and much more. I am a certified ACSTH (ICF) coach and facilitator.
